As a world-class manufacturer of market leading consumer and business-to-business products, the Ogden Plant operates under the philosophy of continuous product and process improvement requiring the development and design of updates/additions to existing production machinery as well as implementation of new processes in support of the business.

To be a successful electrician at Kimberly-Clark requires understanding of basic design and development processes, application and troubleshooting skills to build, test, and support equipment for manufacturing of consumer and business to business health and hygiene products. Electricians work as part of a team under the direction of a Technical Services team leader.

To meet these requirements, higher level electrical skills are essential, including:

Qualifications:

  • Combined 5 years experience and post high school education in an industrial electrical field, desired
  • Associate or 2-year technical degree in an industrial electrical field, preferred
  • Ability to do light mechanical work
  • Experience in registration control systems is preferred
  • Linear Feedback Control Systems
  • Servo Motors and Controllers
  • Industrial/Manufacturing Power and Control Systems
  • PLC (Allen-Bradley) programming and troubleshooting
  • AB Logix platform including integrated motion is highly desirable
  • High-Speed Packaging Equipment
  • Computer Proficiency using MS Windows® and Industrial Software
  • High Level of Initiative and a broad business perspective
  • Ability to provide innovative contributions in a TEAM environment
  • Customer focus when dealing with internal and external customers
  • Effective communication Skills with the ability to discuss technical issues in a business environment .
  • The ability to adapt to rapidly changing business priorities and assignments.
  • Application/Results orientation with primary focus on problem definition and generation of alternative solutions

    General Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Pass aptitude testing
  • Must be able to pass drug screen and additional hiring process requirements.
